Thanks so much for your response to this. I understand completely what you're saying, about Gem/Sag.

One thing, that alters it her though, is that although my south node is in Gemini, it is conjunct Saturn, definately puts a dampner, on that Gemini chatiness . .

If anything, I'm the complete opposite, far too reserved & must strive, to become more Sagittarian.

This is Aliza, who wrote the comments above. It's funny because I've stopped blogging since I last posted here! Hi Elizabeth!

Anyway, my North Node is in Pisces. South Node in Virgo.

Regarding North Node in Sag/ South in Gemini -- seems to me that this lifetime would require you to be more philosophical and expansive, an adventurer of some kind, optimistic... and less chatty? Less... easily distracted. More substance.

Geminis have those quick minds but they can flit from thing to thing...

I find Sag to be fast as well, but it does have a nobel quality that Gemini, for me, doesn't have....

I have been thinking about the nodes lately. What a challenge it is to really embody our North Node. South Node is so familiar and i think it hurts us when we fall back on those south node habits/patterns--

North Node is potential and where we'll do our best... it's more than potential actually.. it'ss our birthright. Doesn't mean it's easy though.

And sometimes the more i "try" (like a Virgo would try) to be Piscean, the more Virgoan i become.

One astrologer teacher of mine is fond of saying that we can't solve the problem with the mind that created it...

As a Sag north node, you need to think long term/long range. Expand...

I just wanted to join in this conversation, even if only belatedly. .

I also have north node in my 6th house, and I completely understand about not being able to go to the monastery.

It was as if I was reading something I could have written myself. any more insight on this combination would be most appreciated! my north node is in Sag/south node Gemini) I wonder if we have the same

And I love that yours has this focus on the Nodes. They are endlessly fascinating. And sometimes frustrating. I was telling a friend this morning on the phone that I wish my north node was somewhere else (it's in the 6th). So it's almost as though I'm not allowed to go to the monastary. I have to deal with the things of this world. Sigh. I rather go to the monestery (which I can't seem to spell)
